June 15 - Toronto Canada - Kool Haus

Private "Molson Rock Star" show (3000 venue, tickets to be won only through Molson promotions). This event surfaces as a rumour very early in March. By the end of April is was a sure thing, and the official announcement came the start of May. The place holds 3000, but Molson press releases boast the "They [Oasis] will play for 800 lucky winners and their guests" (that makes 1600 "winners" and 1400 'others'? 'insiders'?). The lucky 800 will be made up of winners of the Molson Canadian RockStar promotional events held all across Canada. [here's an idea of what these Rock Star Nights are on about]. The press release also states: "In specially-marked cases of Molson Canadian, consumers will get a chance to win access passes to one of the three different Molson Canadian RockStar shows throughout the summer which will be held in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. Consumers can also win access passes at their favorite local bar or club and through radio stations. The promotion starts on May 2, and the Toronto concert featuring Oasis will be held on June 15 in a small downtown club. The other two big acts playing at the Calgary and Vancouver concerts, as well as the dates, will be announced later in the summer."

June 24 - Boston (Mansfield), MA - Tweeter Center

In honor of the Tweeter Center's 20th anniversary, all tickets to this show are $26, including fees. Sold out crowd of 19,900 - biggest ever US show to date.

FILMED FOR FUTURE DVD RELEASE as per www.hitsdailydouble.com. Hitsdaily also indicated that it was going to be broadcast live by WBCN FM, but the day of the show, no broadcast was mentioned. FINALLY the week of July 25th, the gig was being promoted as the feature of the regular Thursday "Live Lunch". On July 29th, a "greatest hits" 55 minute edit of the concert was aired, commercial free, but with much talking and some really sloppy edits!

Fans in Australia were treated to some free downloadable tracks from this same gig - The Sun-Herald on Sunday July 31, featured a special access code to download the soon-to-be released single TIOBI, as well as 3 Boston gig tracks: A Bell Will Ring, Mucky Fingers and Don't Look Back In Anger. According to the paper: " The Sun-Herald has teamed up with Sony BMG to bring readers an exclusive Oasis music download offer. Be the first to download the track The Importance of Being Idle, ahead of it’s UK and Australian release date. Plus, gain exclusive access to three tracks taken from the Oasis concert recorded in Boston. Once downloaded you can listen to each track as many times as you like within a 7 day period.

Radio 1 Berlin broadcast a slightly longer version of the Boston Oasis show on Aug 16th at 23:00 - (missing was Lyla and LLAB)

June 25 - Philadelphia PA - Festival Pier Penn's Landing
